About Mistaya Canyon

Mistaya Canyon is a gorge in the western piece of the Alberta territory of Canada. It is shaped by the Mistaya River. Vacationers who are going by Banff National Park frequently visit it on account of its particular breathtaking gully dividers and in light of the fact that it is anything but difficult to get to, being simply off the Icefields Parkway.

The 0.5 km trail to the gully is situated at a huge stopping region on the west side of the Parkway, part far up the long slope south of the North Saskatchewan River.

There are really two such stopping zones on the slope; the Mistaya one is plainly set apart by signs on the roadway and toward the start of the trail. The trail is a simple stroll in summer yet excessively soak for wheelchairs. The gully is profound and there are no railings. The trail is frosty in late-winter.Explorers will find that the Howse Pass Trail proceeds past the gulch.
