About Griffin House
The Griffin House was doled out a National Historical Site by the Minister of the Environment, the Honorable John Baird, in 2008. The Griffin House was assembled around 1827 and was bought, alongside the encompassing 50 sections of land, by Enerals Griffin in 1834. He and his better half, Priscilla, crossed the outskirt likely in the Port Stanley zone in 1829, to escape subjection in the United States, perhaps making utilization of the Underground Railroad we don't know where they were from 1829 to 1834.
