Bowmanville Harbour Conservation Area

Situated on Lake Ontario in the Municipality of Clarington. There is a vessel dispatch, stopping and close-by access to the waterfront. Officially opened in June 2006, the Bowmanville / Westside Marshes Conservation Area is over 80 hectares in size and includes two provincially significant coastal wetlands Bowmanville Marsh and Westside Marsh and their surrounding lands.

There are ious stops and trails that weave through the Bowmanville Harbor Conservation Area and close-by Port Darlington Marina, is ideal for sculling. The Westside Marsh, originally owned by St Marys Cement and recently dedicated to the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, has undergone extensive restoration activities over the last several years.A iety of neighborhood luxuries, administrations, prevalent human services offices, fine stores, malls, and eateries are okay around the bend.
