Aywaille

Aywaille is a French-speaking municipality of Belgium located in Walloon Region inside the province of Liege, and a locality where sits its management. Tourist vicinity, you can cross hiking or cycling. Its main points of interest are the Remouchamps caves with the longest underground waterway within the world, a wildlife park and numerous castles, such as Harze.

Since January 1st, 1977, it brings collectively the old communes of Aywaille, Sougne-Remouchamps, Harze and Ernonheid as well as Deigne which belonged to the commune of Louveigne. It is twinned with various municipalities of France, Germany and is part of the Regional Economic Group of valleys of the Ourthe, Vesdre and Ambleve and the traveler house of the Pays d'Ourthe-Ambleve whose office is located in Remouchamps.Aywaille is a municipality of 82 km2, the biggest in region of ​​the 24 municipalities of the district of Liege. Straddling the Condroz, Calestienne and Ardenne, Aywaille is placed about twenty kilometers south of Liege, 15 west of Spa and sixty north of Bastogne.
