Enjoy a Completely Different Stay through these Unique Hotels Around The World

Have you ever thought of a hotel providing you a unique experience?... Something that you have never known before? No? Well, you are right in a way since hotels are just meant to provide a decent accommodation, delicious food, easy connectivity from important places and above all an extremely good hospitality. If you get all this, then probably you do not look for anything else.

Below we mention some of these hotels that are different from other hotels of this world.

Ice Hotel , Sweden – Staying in a hotel made out of ice appears to be both a fascinating and a crazy idea, but this is exactly what the Ice Hotel of Jukkasjärvi, Sweden offers. The rooms, beds, restaurants and bars - all are made of ice! Guests sleep in a thermal sleeping bag on snow and ice built bed covered with reindeer skins; drink in specially designed ice glass; offer prayers in an ice chapel and enjoy a steaming hot ice sauna. And if this doesn't sound enough, there are more tempting activities that you can undertake during your stay. How about a dogsled tour or a reindeer sled tour or for that matter ice driving? The options to enjoy are numerous.

Hotel Everland – A hotel that was developed first for the Swiss national exhibition Expo.02; a mobile hotel with a single room in a green and white container that is parked on the top of a building; a hotel where guests are allowed for just a single night and where booking is done two months prior to the actual date of staying and a hotel where all visitors are allowed during daytime and reservations are done for nights only– all this and much more defines Hotel Everland.

The hotel, a creation of Swiss artist-duo L/B (Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann), was first stationed on the lake of Neuchatel for 4 month. Thereafter, it moved to factory roof at L/B's studio in Burgdorf and also attracted visitors on the roof-deck of the Museum of Contemporary Art Leipzig, Germany. It was last placed at the roof of Palais de Tokyo from where a completely fascinating view of the Eiffel tower was enjoyed by the visitors. Currently, this unique hotel or work of art is not open for guests, but we do hope that it soon opens up.

The Giraffe Manor – Ever seen a giraffe stretching its neck inside a room while you are having your breakfast? Or have you ever known what it is like to open a door and see giraffe waiting for you outside? Welcome to the Giraffe Manor, a stone built hotel just outside Nairobi, Kenya. The hotel, as the name suggests, is famous for its resident herd of Giraffes. Feeding and photographing them over breakfast table is a sort of highlight for guests. Staying at the Giraffe Manor has now become a part of the East Africa Safari Tour.

Daspar khotel – Now, this is something which might not sound appealing at the first go, but it is completely unique and innovative! The Dasparkhotel in Ottensheim, Austria, invites you to stay in one of its three drainage pipes! Amazing, right? How could anyone possibly stay in a drainage pipe? But the Dasparkhotel is unexpectedly true and offers great comfort to its guests. The comfortable interior comprises full headroom, double bed, storage, light, power, woolly blanket and light cotton sleeping bag. Other facilities like minibar, cafe, toilets and showers are provided from nearby public space.

Asakusa Capsule Hotel , Tokyo – This one is definitely not for claustrophobic or even those who just love space in their hotel accommodation! This is a hotel which offers its guests rooms that is just big enough to accommodate a single person. Rooms in shape of mini capsule are stacked over one another and mostly attract economy travelers. There is public bath for each gender. The hotel, as per the numerous travelers who have stayed there, is good due to novelty factor. It's a different experience, more so a Japanese experience.
