1. USA Tourism wants to attract Indian Travelers
For attracting Indian tourism to USA, Brand USA conducted educational seminar in three major cities of India like Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad where about 300 travel agents and tour operators participated. The program was successfully conducted from January 11-13, 2016. The main intention of this seminar was to provide in-depth knowledge of attraction of United States of America and promote positive relations with Indian travelers. As per Sheema Vohra, Managing Director, Brand USA India, this ‘The Brand USA ‘Discover America’ will provide great platform to Indian travel industry to have direct interaction with their partners and promote Indian tourism to USA.
In these seminars locations like Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, Visit California, San Francisco Travel, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, etc were promoted. This also focused on the online training courses and knowledge transfer to all the available 2,500 travel agents who are USA specialists across India. Thus, various representatives from USA were present in the seminars that were conducted in South India.
