Built by William Dennison, the Ulysses S. Concede Home was worked in 1860 and is the previous home of Civil War general Ulysses S. Give. Occupants of the city of Galena gave the home to Grant in 1865 as much obliged for his war benefit, however he moved out in 1969 when he turned into the eighteenth President of the United States.
