German submarine U-505

The Museum of Science and Industry's cherished U-505 submarine has reemerged in a stunning indoor presentation that grandstands the tale of the German sub's amazing catch in World War II and investigates innovation and life on board the vessel. The U-505 Submarine display offers ious intelligent units, almost 200 antiquities, documented daily papers and photography, recordings described by Bill Kurtis, radio transmissions, and re-authorizations of key occasions, emotional fine art, and additionally energizing tributes from the veterans of Task Group 22.3 who made the wonderful catch. The sub is currently the world's just residual Type IX-C submarine and a National Historic Landmark.
