The Nebraska State Capitol

Taking off in a mass of Art Deco and marvelous white in the very heart of Lincoln, the Nebraska State Capitol is a honest to goodness inconceivable sight. It was arranged by the watched American Pentecostal Bertram Goodhue, and comes complete with a movement of spellbinding outsides, where reliefs of figures like Julius Caesar and Charlemagne meet under Nebraska's infamous Sower statue set high on the housetop.

Inside and visitors can value a free voyage through the diverse wings, vacillating between the Great Hall, the definitive rooms and the phenomenal vestibule, spotting works by Kenneth Evett and divider sketches portraying Indian history and heritage. Generous, and remember to scale the zenith to the fourteenth floor, where a bit of the best points of view of Lincoln spread out on all sides.
