Santa Monica State Beach

It is a California State Park worked by the city of Santa Monica.The shoreline is situated along Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. It is 3.5 miles in length and has parks, outing regions, play areas, restrooms, and additionally kept an eye on lifeguard stations, the first Muscle Beach, bicycle rentals, concessions, a couple of lodgings, a bicycle way, and wooden pathways for warm days and beachgoers with handicaps. Smoking at the shoreline is prohibited.At the foot of Colorado Avenue, through the well known curve and sign, lies the notable Santa Monica Pier, which dates from 1909. A couple of steps south of the Pier volleyball courts is the International Chess Park. People in general chess tables—and a human-scale chessboard set into the walkway—draw a wide arrangement of players.
