Rancho San Rafael Regional Park

Rancho San Rafael Park offers wonderful perspectives of both mountain and forsake scenes, and also a wetland environment. The land, once home to a working steers farm, was changed over into a recreation center after Washoe County acquired the land in 1979. Two of the first farm houses still remain on the property.

Furthermore, the recreation center contains structures for picnicking, strolling trails, angling, biking, play areas, volleyball courts, and that's only the tip of the iceberg. The William D. May Museum and Arboretum are likewise part of the recreation center and are available to the general population.Must visit the park whith you and your family,friend.
