About Plantation Historical Museum

The Historical Museum began as a little exhibition hall in a back room of City Hall. In 1985, the Plantation Historical Museum building was uncovered behind the Helen B. Hoffman Plantation Library. Presently, the Fire Museum Annex was opened. Changeless displays incorporate ancient rarities from the Seminole and Tequesta clans, memorabilia from the Fire and Police divisions, and generally huge families, including the Peters. Every December, the Historical Society makes a Winter Wonderland highlighting trees embellished in numerous plans and societies. Consistently, there are highlighted shows from the State and other museums. The Butterfly Garden is a quiet site utilized for training, perusing and reflection. Guests will meander on a block way through normally indigenous plants and blooms that pull in vivid butterflies.
