Patriot Park

Patriot Park is Greenfield’s only community park and is approximately 19.11 acres in size. The park, which officially opened in 2016, is designed around a military theme, and includes interactive exhibits with military equipment. The park incorporates the Aviation Museum of the Kubinka air base and the Kubinka Tank Museum. The park includes minor landscaping, comprised of grass and trees. The City of Greenfield contracts for all management and maintenance for Patriot Park.

In 2006, the City replaced the roof and carpet at the day care center; rehabilitated a ball field and soccer field; and relocated the backstop of the ball field southwesterly towards the restrooms and parking area. Playground equipment was replaced in July 2008 and recently underwent a major repair to improve safety for all users.

The City completed improvements to Patriot Park in 2009 to include new concession/announcer’s booth, 2 volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, and re-construction of the little league field, joint softball/soccer field, and the pony league field. Most recently, in 2015, field lighting was installed to allow for night time baseball play.
