Norumbega Park

It is one of the most beautiful parks which was opened in June 1897 and was worked by the directors of the Commonwealth Avenue Street Railway trying to expand support and incomes on the trolley line running amongst Boston and Auburndale.

It is a prescribed outing site of the Charles River Pathway.The park offered paddling and pedal sailing on the Charles River, a theater, nurseries, eateries and food vendors, a penny arcade, picnic area, a zoo and delight rides.

This park standout amongst the most delightful, and unquestionably most mainstream "trolley" park.

Norumbega Park draws in countless each season. Because of the park's area kayaking and pedal floating were popular attractions giving a grand escape, if only for the day.
