Museum of the Albemarle
About Museum of the Albemarle
The Historical center of the Albemarle is situated in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It fills in as the northeastern local office of the North Carolina Historical center of History. This region of North Carolina is at times thought about the origination of English North America, with nearness to Roanoke Island and the "Lost Settlement" of 1585.
Set up in 1967 of every a previous NC Thruway Watch station south of Elizabeth City, the Gallery has since extended with another three-story historical center working in 2008 situated on the Downtown Waterfront. The center show is "Our Story", a 6200 sq. ft. an exhibition highlighting more than 700 antiques that translate the rich history and culture of the 16-district Albemarle locale of northeastern North Carolina
