Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center

The Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center, some time ago known as Atlantis Marine World Aquarium, is no normal aquarium. This 3.2-section of land, full-scale amphibian asylum and recently opened show focus in downtown Riverhead along the beautiful Peconic River submerges guests in a voyage loaded with experience, instruction, and ponder. The vibe inside the Long Island Aquarium enables guests to feel as if they've been transported to the wondrous Lost City of Atlantis.

The indoor displays give you the chance to encounter conditions as different as the Amazon Rainforest, Africa's Lake Malawi, and the Long Island Coast, while the open-air shows included along the banks of the Peconic River enliven old remains, tropical tidal ponds, and the shores of South Africa.
