Little History with Apples

At one time Paradise was known as California's apple focus, and the main apple festivity here was in 1880 and was known as the Harvest Home Festival. As the years progressed, the celebration had numerous names and in 1968 it moved toward becoming Johnny Appleseed Days. You can, in any case, visit an apple plantation that has to deliver trees that go back to the late 1800's.

Since 1921 the Noble Orchards have been creating apples. It's still family run and is the remainder of such ranches on the Ridge. Seventeen assortments of apples are gathered from the now 30 sections of land and 20 sections of land of peaches and nectarines. Pies for the Johnny Appleseed Festival are produced using Noble Orchard apples.
