Ireland Great Hunger Museum

The mission of Ireland's Great Hunger Museum at Quinnipiac University is to gather, protect, display and concentrate its accumulation of workmanship, ancient rarities and writing identified with the Irish Famine/Great Hunger that happened from 1845– 52. In doing as such, it looks to instruct groups of onlookers of any age about the fundamental political, social, monetary and noteworthy reasons for the Great Hunger, and the size of the fiasco on Ireland and its kin.

The historical center contains the world's biggest accumulation of Great Hunger-related workmanship by noted contemporary Irish and Irish American craftsmen and in addition ious period sketches by some of Ireland's most imperative nineteenth century specialists.
