High Falls Gorge

Just a short drive from Lake Placid and about a mile from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort are four sublime waterfalls overflowing rocks into a dim profound fissure that nature cut over a billion years back. There is a half-hour trail to the Gorge that is simple and reasonable for anybody, and it is by a wide margin the most excellent trail in the territory.

You will traverse durable extensions, stroll on glass floor walkways, and walk around pleasantly prepped ways and trails. There is even a wheelchair open way. A simple half mile round outing along the pleasantly kept up trail conveys guests to steel spans and dubious walkways from which they have a nearby perspective of the falls. High Falls Gorge is similarly entrancing in the winter, yet you will require a couple of snowshoes or Yaktrax to see the waterfall's ice developments.
