Glore Psychiatric Museum

This Museum is a piece of a complex of St. Joseph, Missouri historical centers, alongside the Black Archives Museum and the St. Joseph Museum and American Indian and History Galleries. Its displays highlight the 130-year history of the adjoining state mental clinic, and show the historical backdrop of emotional well-being treatment through the ages. It has been called one of the fifty most strange historical centers in the United States. The exhibition hall shows numerous antiquities from the psychological doctor's facility, including restorative hardware, staff garbs, photos, and fine art and composing made by the patients. One display recounts the account of a man who put in 72 years as a patient in the healing center.
