About Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary
The Estivant Pines are thought to be the final remain of old-development white pines in Michigan, some of which have figured out how to get away from the saws of the lumberjacks for more than 600 years. The whole timberland resembles an immaculate living nature exhibition hall highlighting 125 feet tall trees and a thick undergrowth containing numerous different plants, including orchids and greeneries.
The woods is home to more than 85 types of fowls and numerous little creatures you can see as you climb along the three trail circles. House of God Trail Loop is the place the biggest of the trees are found, yet Memorial Trail Loop is similarly as remunerating – join the two trails to capitalize on your visit
