Dark Diamond Natural Area

Black Diamond Open Space BDOS is situated in rustic King County North of the city of Black Diamond and south of the city of Maple Valley, is a 1,240-section of land multi-utilize King County Park. This territory is the biggest and most freely utilized segment of BDOS. It is found north of the city of Black Diamond on the two sides of SR 169 and incorporates Ravensdale Lake and Creek.

The lake, river passageway, and a couple of vast wetlands have a forested support; a large portion of the site is youthful backwoods or bushes. Trails suitable for non-mechanized utilize befuddle the property, with the principle purpose of passage off of SR 169 where there are two new parking areas. Ruler County Parks' Green-to-Cedar River Regional Trail is made arrangements for future advancement through this unit, west of SR 169.
