About City Hall

In spite of being encompassed by ious taller and more present day structures, Milwaukee's City Hall keeps on being an essential piece of the city's horizon. Worked over ious years and completed in 1895, the working, at 393 feet, stays one of the tallest nineteenth century high rises of its kind. Planned in a blend of Flemish and German Renaissance Revival styles, it was, when finished, the tallest tenable working in the nation. The chime in City Hall was named after Solomon Juneau, Milwaukee's first leader. It was planned and made by the Campbells, who were early pioneers in making plunging chambers and suits close to the Great Lakes territory amid that time.
