Charles Theatre

The Charles Theater, regularly alluded to as essentially The Charles, is the most seasoned motion picture theater in Baltimore. The auditorium is a Beaux-Arts building composed as a streetcar horse shelter in 1892 by Jackson C. Gott, situated in what is currently the Station North expressions and amusement locale. The performance center was renamed the Charles for its area on Charles Street around 1959 and turned into a logbook restoration house in 1979.

The Charles Theater is the most established silver screen in Baltimore. At first the auditorium was composed as a streetcar horse shelter before being moved to Charles Street where it now remains. The five screen theater demonstrates an entire scope of autonomous movies and in addition a portion of the significant arrivals of today. Every year the venue holds the yearly Maryland Film Festival which pulls in motion picture sweethearts from over the state.
