Absecon Lighthouse

The 228-advance Absecon Lighthouse is striking for as yet having the First-Order Fresnel focal point introduced when the structure was worked in 1857. At 171 feet, it's the tallest in New Jersey and the third tallest in the US. Redesigned to remember the New Jersey's 300th commemoration, the beacon is made up of rock pieces, block, and press and painted in its unique dark and yellow.
