War Memorial

The memorial is located behind the existing Cenotaph in the city's memorial garden.Family and friends of those inscribed on memorial laid tributes.A war memorial inscribed with the names of 30 Bradford people killed on active service since the end of World War Two has been unveiled.The park area surrounding the memorial has been redesigned with new paths and seating.

The new memorial is a joint project between Bradford Council and the Royal British Legion.The ceremony, also attended by Bradford mayor Khadim Hussain, featured prayers, poetry readings, and music by a brass band.A service of dedication was led by the Bishop of Bradford, the Right Reverend Nick Baines.
