About Verulamium Park
Verulamium Park is a recreation center in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Set in more than 100 sections of land of wonderful parkland, Verulamium Park was obtained from the Earl of Verulam in 1929 by the then City Corporation. The recreation center is named after the Roman city of Veraslinium on which it stands. The City dividers and framework of the fundamental London Gate can even now be seen. Archeological unearthings were attempted in the recreation center amid the 1930s by Sir Mortimer Wheeler and his significant other Tessa, amid which the 1800-year-old hypocaust and its covering mosaic floor were found.
The Hypocaust Mosaic is on view to the general population and right now shielded from the components by a reason assembled working in the recreation center. On the edges of the recreation center is Verulamium Museum, which contains several archeological articles identifying with ordinary Roman life in what was a noteworthy Roman city.
