St Mary le Wigford

It is the most seasoned church in Lincoln and confirmation of its Saxon source can be found in the church.

St. Mary'. Since Saxon circumstances this congregation has remained at the business focal point of Lincoln serving every age.

Numerous different places of worship have been established, including our house of God, and numerous others have disappeared.St Mary-le-Wigford church dates to the late Saxon time frame, with a tall pinnacle that may date to 980 AD, and an Early English nave.

The main part of the engineering is mid thirteenth century, presumably enlivened by the contemporary working of St Hugh's Angel Choir in Lincoln Cathedral.
