Roath Park

Roath Park remains in a wonderful area at the focal point of this bustling capital city. The recreation center still holds the exemplary Victorian Park climate where neighborhood occupants and guests alike can make the most of their relaxation time in ious interests.

Roath Park is brimming with memorable and agricultural enthusiasm, with generally ious situations over the recreation center. The land for Roath Park was given by the Marquess of Bute to the city in 1887. Work at first centered around making the lake from a zone of marshland.

A beacon was built in the lake containing a scale model of the 'Land Nova' transport as a commemoration to Captain Scott who cruised to the Antarctic from Cardiff in 1910. The recreation center's climate today still holds the Victorian polish and its status as a Conservation Area guarantees these characteristics will be secured.
