About National Emergency Services Museum

The National Emergency Services Museum is a historical center in Sheffield, England. Opened on 8 May 1984 as the "Sheffield Fire and Police Museum", it was given its present name on 1 January 2014.

It is based at a previous consolidated police and fire station opened in 1900 at the intersection of West Bar and Tenter Street close to the downtown area.

A remarkable component is one of only a handful few residual Fire Brigade perception towers in the UK.

The accumulation covers lawfulness, and social history. The historical center is a Registered Charity keep running by volunteers, and is open on Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays and Mondays to Fridays amid school occasions, Wednesdays to Fridays amid term. It likewise has ious sketches, including one by Sheffield craftsman Joe Scarborough.
