Harris Museum

The Harris Museum, Art Gallery, and Preston Free Public Library is a Grade I recorded exhibition hall working in Preston.In the nineteenth century, it ended up legitimate to fund-raise for libraries by nearby tax collection, and the town of Preston needed a terrific historical center and library for its tenants. In 1879, the principal Preston loaning library was set up in the Town Hall cellar, while an open historical center was set up on Cross Street, opening 1 May 1880.
