Glencoe or Glencoe Village is the fundamental settlement in Glen Coe in the Lochaber zone of the Scottish Highlands. It lies at the north-west end of the glen, on the southern bank of the River Coe where it enters Loch Leven a salt-water loch off Loch Linnhe.
The town falls inside the Ross, Skye and Lochaber part of the Highland gathering territory for nearby government purposes. It is a piece of the enrollment region of Argyll and the lieutenancy territory of Inverness for stylized capacities. The utilization of the term 'Glencoe Village' is a cutting edge one, to separate the settlement from the glen itself.
