About Crookston Castle
Crookston Castle is situated in the Pollok region of south-west Glasgow, Scotland. The mansion is found nearly 5 miles 8 km south-west of the downtown area, and 3 miles 5 km east of Paisley, neglecting the Levern Water, just before its conversion with the White Cart Water.
Crookston Castle was worked in the 1400s, yet it's set inside earthworks going back to the 1100s. The main surviving medieval chateau in the City of Glasgow, it remains as an indication of the zone's previous rustic character.
The chateau's design is relatively one of a kind in Scotland. It includes a high focal pinnacle, with four square corner towers. Just the north-east pinnacle remains completely in place, however it demonstrates it was plainly arranged.
From the manor's peak position you can get a fantastic perspective of south-east Glasgow.
