About Ataturk Museum

Ataturk Museum shows War of Independence and the primary long stretches of Republic at the manor, Ataturk remained amid his excursions to Adana. Neglecting to the Seyhan River, the historical center is situated on Seyhan Street and it is available to open each day aside from Mondays. Ataturk's visit to Adana is authoritatively celebrated in this building each year on 15 March. The historical center building was worked in the nineteenth century as a house by Subhi Pasha. Ataturk and his significant other remained in this house amid their visit to Adana on March 15, 1923. The building was seized and reestablished by the "Ataturk Scientific and Cultural Conservation and Revival Society", under the direction of Army Corps authority Bedrettin Demirel with the gifts from network.
The museum building is one of the customary line places of Tepebag. A two-story structure is worked of block and stone with cove windows and pitch rooftop. In light of its unconventional attributes, it is named "Social Real Estate under Conservation" by the Ministry and saved in its unique state. At the ground floor, there is the investigation room and the library. In the examination room, the daily papers Yeni Adana, Turk Sozu, Cukurova and Dirlik which were distributed amid and after the Independence War, are shown. In the library, about two thousand books, written in Ottoman and Turkish are in plain view. The greater part of the books are acquired by gifts.
