About Artvin
Artvin is a city in northeastern Turkey around 30 km inland from the Black Sea. It is situated on a slope sitting above the Coruh River close to the Deriner Dam. It is a previous priestly district and Armenian Catholic main see and the home of Artvin Coruh University. Over the deliberately set town and street is the post, which was once inside the medieval Georgian region of Nigali.
