About Asa Wright Nature Center
Earlier a Cocoa Plantation, it has turned itself into one of the most important nature centers in Trinidad and Tobago. It attracts nature lovers from all across the country, especially for the wonderful bird watching opportunity it provides. There are guided tours organized in the park for giving you better insights into this unique animal world. There are feeding sessions of the wild birds which probably is the best time to sight the birds closely. You can also cool yourself in a fresh water pond inside the compound itself that has swimming allowed in it. The lush green environs are also quite soothing to the eyes.
