It, generally referred to in English as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and authoritatively as Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, is viewed as the most hallowed Buddhist sanctuary wat in Thailand. It is situated in Phra Nakhon District, the memorable focus of Bangkok, inside the regions of the Grand Palace.
