At Monstein you can join a trail that weaves along the floor of a three-kilometer pig out.
At the mouth the sides are green and have a delicate incline, yet as you go the Steig and Silberberg developments start to press in as things wind up plainly more extreme and rockier.
This course is a "Topographical Trail", so as you stroll to the town of Wiesen there are data boards clarifying the geography of the crevasse and its rich stores of lead and zinc that were mined up to the 1800s.
Overhead the Rhaetian Railway embraces the edges of the crevasse, going through passages and intersection by means of the breathtaking Wiesen Viaduct.
