Axel Ebbes konsthall

Axel Ebbes Konsthall is a craftsmanship exhibition hall in the downtown area of Trelleborg committed to the renowned Swedish artist Axel Ebbe. The exhibition hall close to the city stop of Trelleborg was worked in 1935 in the style of functionalism. It presents Axel Ebbes gathered works which the craftsman had given to Trelleborg in 1933. Axel Ebbe was conceived in 1868 as a child of the well off laborers in the town Hököpinge in the district Vellinge.

In 1941 he kicked the bucket there. He examined in London, Paris, Vienna, and Berlin, and returned after a long remain abroad back to Sweden in 1910. A large number of his models from the period after his arrival adorn open places in Sweden.
