About Museum of the Khalifas House

The Khalifa House Museum is an ethnographic exhibition hall, situated inverse the Mahdi's tomb in the city of Omdurman in Sudan. It was the living arrangement of the successor of the Mahdi, Kalifa Abdallahi ibn Muhammad and the base camp of the organization of the Mahdi State. The House was exchanged to a historical center in 1928. The Khalifa House is a low, two-storied working with a progression of connected patios. The ground floor was worked in 1888 and the upper floor in 1891.
