Mro Services Overburdened By Heavy Taxes In India

The Vice President of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Association of India, Bharat Malkani said that Indian economy could be strengthened and developed if the taxes are well planned in the aviation industry. He said that almost every airline in India trust the foreign vendors for serving their aircraft; the reason is the lopsided tax policy of India.

Despite India possess everything that is needed for MRO, still the high tax deprives it. This is also directly affecting the tourism and travel industry in the country. The aviation industry is demanding to remove such heavy taxes, as it will bring business and prosperity to Indian aviation sector.
