1. Jet Airways to Operate Its Largest Aircraft for Mumbai-Amsterdam Route
From 30th October 2016, Jet Airways will operate its largest aircraft - Boeing 777-300ER, on its one of busiest air route Mumbai to Amsterdam. Due to the growing demand from corporate and business travelers on this route, Jet Airways has decided to deploy its largest air carrier Boeing 777-300ER replacing the previous one - Airbus A330.
Launched in March 2016 by Jet Airways, the route is currently the only daily operated direct air bird between Mumbai and Amsterdam. Mr. Gaurang Shetty – Director, Jet Airways stated, “The non-stop air service connecting India’s commercial capital Mumbai to Amsterdam - one of the key European hub, is getting huge response, so much that we will upgrade within few months to carter our customers’ need. The B777 which is scheduled to be upgraded with the old one can handle a total number of 346 passengers in three cabins. The available seats are divided as following - 308 in economy class, 30 in business class and 8 in first class.
