1. Kerala Tourism Department Comes Up with Multiple Initiatives

With the helping hand from both state and central government, Kerala Tourism Department has come up with multiple new and exciting initiatives to increase the overall tourist number to the state. As for the priority on this project, Project Muziris, Eco-Adventure, promoting Kerala as a MICE Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions and wedding destination will be the primary concern for the state tourism board.

There are plans even in progress to commission chartered flights, trains and tourist bogies for different tourist destinations of the state from major Indian markets. The director of Kerala Tourism – Mr. U V Jose has stated, “The board’s prime objective is to promote brand new tourism initiatives for the state. From scenic natural landscapes to exciting cultural and heritage, our state has everything that a tourist wants to travel. We just have to adorn them and promote them better.”
