About Palace Laredo
The Palace Laredo is a palace positioned in Alcala de Henares, Spain. It became d Bien de Interes Cultural in 1975. Laredo Palace is a aggregate of architectural, sculptural and ornamental archetypes and factors, inspired via special patterns but dominated by the neo-Mudejar style. The constructing is a set of rooms, towers and viewpoints, porches, terraces and gardens. Visitors will find rooms stimulated with the aid of the Alhambra, through Pompeian frescos and through the Plateresque way of life, and with Modernist, Gothic, Renaissance, Nasrid and Moorish ornamental motifs in standard.
Laredo consists of portions from different monuments in different locations, together with coffering and small vaults from the Palace of the Condes de Tendilla; vaults and columns from the Castle of Santorcaz; Spanish-Moorish tiles form the Palace of Peter I in Jaen; and columns from the Monte Loranca Jesuit Penitentiary, among others. It is presently a museum committed to Cardinal Cisneros, and includes a documentation centre and a specialized library which includes documentary and bibliographic sources referring to the history of the University of Alcala.
