Museum of Radio

The Radio Museum is situated in Ponferrada, in the area of El Bierzo, region of Leon, self-governing network of Castilla y Leon. The historical center is situated in the Casa de los Escudos, a villa generally Baroque style and Rococo impacts, having a place with the Garcia de las Llanas family. The House of the Shields is from the eighteenth century, in late Baroque and Rococo style , worked by Francisco García de las Llanas, unending magistrate of the town of Ponferrada, knight of the Order of Alcantara and chief of the Militia Regiment of Leon.

The blazons of the outside relate to their genealogy, that of the left to the group of the Llanas and the privilege to the family Benero Rebollín, maternal family. The inside of the historical center was restored in the 90s and empowered as a gallery, under museological venture is crafted by Jesús Alvarez Courel, in the year 2002-2003.
