Kosice Zoo

The Kosice Zoo is a zoo in Kosice, Slovakia in the neighborhood city part of Kavecany. Incorporating 292 hectares, it is the biggest zoo in Slovakia and the third biggest in Europe, however guests are permitted just in around 33% of this region. Over the years, the zoo has been fruitful in reproducing the hucul horse. Having birthed 82 foals, since 1996 the zoo has been restoring a portion of its creatures to the general quality pool of the species. The zoo incorporates a 11-hectare 27-section of land off-guest territory for the steeds to wander. Other rearing endeavors at the zoo incorporate dark colored bears a litter of 5 conceived in 2002 is in the Guinness Book of World Records, baboons, lynx, Przewalski's steeds, Shetland horses, Chapman's zebras, Altai wapiti, Capybaras, and emus.
