Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum

The Kaliningrad Regional Amber Museum is a gallery situated in the Russian city of Kaliningrad dedicated to lodging and showing golden works of art. It is situated in the downtown area, on the shore of Lake Verkhneye. Development on the historical center started in 1972. The historical center opened in 1979 and houses around 14,000 individual pieces. The exhibition hall possesses some portion of a reproduced fortress, initially worked by Karl Friedrich Emil zu Dohna-Schlobitten in the Napoleonic wars. The golden exhibition hall was built up in Kaliningrad in light of the fact that close to the town of Yantarnoye there is the biggest store of the Baltic pearl - over 90% of the world's stores.

In 2004, an exhibition of a remote craftsman diamond setter, fashioner Lisa Vershbow from the USA, was sorted out, which exhibited new ways to deal with the masterful elucidation of golden. The American diamond setter held ace classes with youthful Kaliningrad specialists. In 2005, by the 750th commemoration of Kaliningrad/Koenigsberg, the Amber Museum showed artful culminations of the handling of golden from the sixteenth and eighteenth hundreds of years from the accumulation of the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve, from the celebrated Amber Room. This show denoted the start of the venture "Golden Collections of Russia and Europe in the Kaliningrad Amber Museum".
