Juditten Church is a Russian Orthodox church in the Mendeleyevo locale of Kaliningrad, Russia. It was worked as a Roman Catholic church, and was later a Prussian Union church. Juditten was the name of Mendeleyevo when it was a fourth of Konigsberg, Germany. It is the most established working of Kaliningrad. One of the most established places of worship of Sambia, the invigorated church of was worked in the ascetic condition of the Teutonic Order somewhere in the range of 1276 and 1294/98 or ca. 1287/88.
In 1402 it was said in the treasurer's book as Judynkirchen. Frescoes by the painter Peter were situated in the chancel by 1394. It got an unsupported pinnacle ca. 1400, a cross ca. 1520, and a climate vane in 1577. The clock tower and nave were associated by a barrel-vaulted vestibule in 1820. Juditten turned into a sanctum to the Virgin Mary and a medieval Christian journey site for guests from all through the Holy Roman Empire, particularly amid the period of Teutonic Order Grand Master Konrad von Jungingen.
The church's frescoes delineated emblems, the lives of Jesus and Mary, the Twelve Apostles, chivalric stories, and unbelievable animals. Its overwhelming Madonna and Child over a sickle moon was made out of shaded wood by an obscure ace before 1454. As per Konigsberg planner Friedrich Lahrs, the Madonna used to be situated in Königsberg Cathedral's house of prayer.
