Simnicu de Sus

Simnicu de Sus is a commune in Dolj county , Oltenia , Romania , fashioned via the villages of Albesti , Cornetu , Deleni , Dudovicesti , Dutulesti , Floresti , Izvor , Jieni , Lesile , Milesti , Romanesti and Simnicu de Sus. The commune stretches over 10 km along the Amaradia River . Among the constituent localities of the commune, the earliest certification is the village of Milesti , a village licensed with the aid of a report dated January 29, 1546 , via which Mircea Voievod gave Toader and his sons land in Mileştii de Sus and Mileştii de Down. The village of Albesti, which turned into licensed on September 28, 1597 , then Cornet village in 1603, and Deleni in 1644.
