Satchinez is a municipality within the county of Timis, Banat, Romania, consisting of the villages Barateaz, Hodoni and Satchinez. Satchinez locality is placed in the north of Timis county, approximately 25 km from the city of Timisoara. It has its very own station at the Timisoara - Nerau line. It is bordered to the north by way of Gelu, to the east by way of Barateaz, Calacea and Carani, to the southeast with the aid of Hodoni and to the southwest by way of Biled.
